IQ-R represents a distinctive 2D barcode, printed and safeguarded by Banknote's proprietary technology, ensuring multi-layered security. It comprises a public layer, readable by all code readers, as well as concealed and encrypted layers housing supplementary data. Each IQ-R code bears a digital signature, thwarting any tampering attempts and certifying its origin. The Pro version leverages dynamic copy protection for printout authentication. This comprehensive information can be verified and authenticated both in offline and online settings, utilizing Banknote's reader application, which is also accessible as an SDK for seamless integration into third-party applications.

The LCI digital security feature holds special, coded information in form of prefabricated illustrations that can be visually authenticated by comparing the displayed information on Jura’s reader app (Android/iOS/Huawei) to the printed ones. The feature includes a library of prefabricated images that are stored in the file (2 or more). The illustrations and their positions aren’t at random, the specific set of images are printed in a particular order which then is predicted by the Jura reader app. The LCI can be worked into an existing product layout, with no need for redesign.

The MDT Pro, an advanced version of the MDT feature, (MicroDot Text Pro) protection technology is a serialized microtext developed for HP indigo’s native resolution, meeting international standards for security printing. It delivers a high level of protection to each document – the text itself is personalized to protect the product and serialized to protect the individual items as well. By using a magnifying glass anyone can compare and verify the serial numbers on various parts of the document.

The VMT Pro represents an upgraded iteration of the VMT feature. It takes the personalized serial number, distorts it by incorporating character shapes, and associates it with the product ID (serial number). The VMT Pro is printed with meticulous pixel accuracy, resulting in a crisper, more challenging-to-replicate distorted serial number. The characters within the VMT Pro can encompass multiple colors, adding to its complexity.
